a reader pointed out that an area of the sun pointing right at us has jumped from C-class to low X-class (which is major) and indicative of solar flare activity
The region is called11515, and may be a cause for alarm for a CME (coronal Mass Ejection), this means a big flare shoots out, but dont worry we wont cook!
The main concern is the EMP (electro-magnetic pulse) that comes off of these and can and will fry all electronics.
May be a good thing to put some stuff aside in a metal case. This may be tinfoil hat, but better safe than sorry.
